KBH Energy Finance Case Competition
November 6–7, 2026 · University of Texas at Austin, Rowling Hall

A two-day case competition,
hosted by the KBH Energy Center.

Teams of three tackle a live energy-sector case. Day one is case prep and mentoring; the preliminary rounds and the final round both happen on day two, back to back. This is where you register your team and sign up to mentor or judge.

Open to undergraduate students only. Graduate students are welcome to sign up as a mentor or judge instead.

For student teams

Open to undergraduate students only. Teams of exactly three. Register once per team — you'll need each teammate's name and email on hand. Room assignments for the day go out closer to the event. Registration closes October 23.

Open to graduate students and professionals. Mentoring and judging are separate roles — sign up for either or both, and tell us which day(s) you're available. Room assignments come from the organizer the morning of.
